IntertechPira conference on Image Sensors 2010
Jan Bogaerts,CMOSIS' Chief Scientist spoke at the IntertechPira Image Sensors Europe conference on image sensors in the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, London, 23-25 March 2010. His talk, entitled "Global Shutter Image Sensors for Machine Vision Applications" focussed on the Machine Vision sensor demands from the market, how this led to the definition of CMOSIS' CMV4000 and CMV2000 specifications, and how these are implemented in novel sensor and pixel architectures. His slides can be downloaded here»
EOS Frontiers in Electronic Imaging 2009, Munich
At the Frontiers in Electronic Imaging conference, CMOSIS talked about pixel binning in the charge domain. This operation has always been a bit difficult in CMOS active pixel sensors, and is still considered to be an advantage of CCDs. Learn all about it in Guy's presentation »
Meeting New Demands of Image Capture (Advanced Imaging)
In its October '08 issue, Advanced Imaging Magazine published an article by CMOSIS, on global shutters and high dynamic range in image sensors. Read all about this here »
IntertechPira conference on Image Sensors
Guy Meynants spoke at the IntertechPira conference on image sensors in the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington, London, 19-20 March 2008. His talk, entitled "Increasing Dynamic Range in CMOS image sensors" focussed on the importance of dynamic range for various applications, show where limitations in dynamic range originate from, and illustrate various solutions to increase the dynamic range. His slides can be downloaded here »
The Vision Show, Boston
Guy Meynants spoke at The Vision Show, North America's leading showcase of machine vision and imaging components, systems and solutions, in Boston, June 10-12, 2008. His talk, entitled "Improvements in CMOS image sensors with Global Shutter" featured in the session on Advances in Image Sensor Technology, Wed. June 11th, 2008. The slides can be downloaded here »
