We are glad to introduce our first off-the-shelf high-resolution CMOS image sensor product at Vision 2009 (3-5 November 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany).
Targetted at demanding machine vision applications, the 2.2 Megapixel (2048 x 1088) CMOSIS CMV2000 imager features a pixel size of 5.5µm x 5.5µm and is equipped with a novel low-noise global shutter that allows true correlated double sampling. The CMV2000 combines a full-frame rate of 340 fps with a readout noise of only 18 electrons and 16-channel LVDS interfacing.
